Set up each floor with its rooms and beds, sharing type and rent. See occupied and free beds across the building before you answer a new enquiry. Rent can differ by sharing type, so a single, a twin and a triple bed each carry their own amount.
Tenant management software for joining and leaving
Record each tenant's details, the bed they are given and their joining date. When they vacate, the bed frees up and their history stays on record.
PG rent collection app for monthly rent
Record rent paid by cash or UPI against each tenant every month. The unpaid list is ready on the 5th, not after a weekend spent with the register. Part payments are recorded as they come, so a tenant who pays in two instalments is not chased for the full amount.
Deposits recorded from day one
Record the security deposit when a tenant joins. At exit, you settle against the amount on record instead of a slip that may or may not still be in the drawer. Deposit amounts differ from tenant to tenant, and each one is stored with the person who paid it.
Complaints logged and closed
Log complaints about plumbing, electricity, Wi-Fi or housekeeping against the room. Each complaint stays open until it is marked fixed, so none is quietly forgotten. Repeat complaints from the same room show up in its history, so a recurring plumbing problem gets noticed.

Give the bed
A student from Kerala joining a college in Coimbatore asks for a twin-sharing room. You check free beds, assign Room 204 Bed B, and record the tenant's details, rent and deposit.

Collect rent every month
Rent is recorded as tenants pay by cash or UPI. On the 5th, the unpaid list shows whom to remind, room by room, without opening the register. Tenants who pay by UPI on the 1st and those who pay cash at the desk are recorded the same way.

Handle complaints and the exit
A complaint about the geyser is logged and closed once it is repaired. When the tenant moves out at the end of the course, the deposit is settled against the amount on record and the bed shows free again.

What is PG management software?
PG management software keeps a paying guest or hostel business in one system: rooms, beds, tenants, rent, deposits and complaints. Roomora is ZUGEE's PG management software for PG, hostel and co-living owners in India.
Is Roomora worth it for a small PG with 20 or 30 beds?
Yes. With 20 beds you still collect 20 rents a month and hold 20 deposits. Roomora is set up for your building, so a single small PG and a multi-building operator use the same simple screens.
Can I check rent and free beds on my mobile phone?
Yes. Roomora runs in a web browser, so you can see free beds and unpaid rent on an Android phone from anywhere, while your manager uses it at the desk.
Can Roomora give rent receipts and bills to tenants?
Roomora records every rent payment against the tenant, so you can show any tenant exactly what they have paid and what is due. If your PG is GST-registered, your accountant handles the GST side in Tally, and we export the rent data they need.
Can tenants get rent reminders on WhatsApp?
Not yet. WhatsApp reminders from Roomora are coming soon. Until then, the unpaid-rent list tells you exactly whom to remind each month.
