How a semester runs in Campora

    Set up the semester

    Before classes begin, departments open the semester's courses and assign faculty. Students are mapped to their courses, so every class list is ready on the first day. First-year students are added once admissions close, so they appear in every list from their first class.

    Run classes and collect fees

    Faculty mark attendance course by course. At the fees office, semester fees are recorded against each student with a receipt, and dues are visible by programme. Departments can watch attendance build up through the semester instead of seeing it only at the end.

    Conduct exams and record marks

    Faculty enter internal marks for their courses. The exam cell sees marks and attendance together before semester exams, without collecting sheets from every department. After results, the records stay with each student for the next semester.

Is Campora suitable for a small college with only a few departments?

Yes. A small college still runs semesters, fees and exams, usually with a smaller office. Campora is set up for your departments and programmes, and you use only what your college needs.

Can faculty mark attendance from their mobile phones?

Yes. Campora runs in a web browser, so faculty can mark attendance on an Android phone in the classroom, while the office and exam cell work on computers.

Does Campora handle fee billing and receipts?

Yes. Semester and other fees are recorded against each student with a receipt, and dues are listed by programme and year. Your accounts team gets the fee data they need for audits as an export.

Can we move away from our old college server?

Yes. During setup we bring your student, course and fee records across from your current system's exports or Excel, and check them with your staff before you go live. Your staff keep working on the old system until the new one is ready to take over.
